Captain Enoch and the Nightrooper! 

 

The Walmart Exclusive Captain Enoch and Night Trooper set for the Black Series is here! I got mine late last week. I love the set. It is a “Hostage Pack” which I am not a big fan of but the did do a great job with both figures. By “Hostage Pack” I refer to any set that could be an army builder but isn’t due to including a Named or Primary character: the Mace Windu and 187th Battalion Trooper Clones of Republic is another example. 

Both use the new Stormtrooper body as a base but have a decent amount of retooled and new parts. 

 

Captain Enoch:

Enoch is very nice. Lots of details. His armor is very soft on the shoulders though. It seems softer than the other tropers so take care when posing. My only issue with the figure is the head. Unlike many other modern stormtroopers, this one does not have an unpainted head underneath it but is a solid sculpt. The helmet is also smaller than the standard Stormtrooper helmet. He does come with a sculpted kama and a unique blaster, which is painted. 

 

Nighttrooper:

The one is almost flawless. I love the details and the molding on the wraps. Lots of details. The only issue is his blaster is grey when the standard is black. But lots of great details. No visible bleeding of the red paint on the wraps on his armor. 

 

Bonus: If you make dioramas you can cut out one of the background images included in the cardboard insert to make one of the Jedi Meditation points from the Jedi Survivor game. It’s not an exact match but I think it has the same effect.
